Barrington Tops - Rig Sisters 4X4 1st Adventure JULY 2025

A wet weather weekend by the fire!

RS4X4 took to Barrington Tops for an easy

getaway and catch up with the crew.

RS4X4 took to Barrington Tops for an easy getaway and catch up with the crew.

The drive in was absolutely stunning following the river on country dirt roads making it easy for our 2WD friends to join in on the fun despite this area being known for its 4WD tracks. Nestled in the valley of Upper Allyn with basic amenities Dobbie Rim Campground made the perfect place to set camp. Given the how many attended we needed a fair bit of space and this place had lots of it!

Throughout the two nights many laughs were shared around the very hot (but very needed) campfire. We cooked up a mad family feed to share amoungst friends, played plenty of games into the night (who knew Jungle Speed could cause so much competition!)

During the day checked out the river down the hill from camp, where everyone commented on how this would be a top spot to cool off in the summer. With amazing swimming holes and waterfalls they would be right. Unfortunately it was too cold to go for a dip but we soaked up the sun sitting out on the rocks looking over the river.

By the end of the weekend when we were all drenched from the rain and boots covered in mud we still cherished how we could come together and have an absolute ball. We realised that having this community let us be who we are, drive what we drive and enjoy company with girls that share the dream.

A great start for Rig Sisters 4x4 and everyone was keen to go out again.
